01
Corrosion Resistance
The combination of nickel, chromium and molybdenum supports resistance to a range of corrosive environments. The alloy is also noted for resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking. Suitability must be evaluated against medium composition, temperature, concentration, flow conditions and design requirements.
02
Strength & Toughness
INCONEL® Alloy 625 combines strength, ductility and toughness, including relevant low-temperature properties. Mechanical performance varies with product form, dimensions, processing history and delivery condition.
03
Oxidation Resistance
The alloy offers oxidation and scaling resistance at elevated temperatures. Actual service temperature and life depend on the operating environment, stress, exposure time and applicable engineering requirements.
04
Fabrication & Joining
The alloy can be processed and joined using established methods. Forming, machining, welding and any heat-treatment requirements should be determined by product form and intended use.
