Broad Chemical Resistance
Used in selected applications exposed to aggressive process chemicals; the actual medium, concentration and temperature determine suitability.
Nickel–Chromium–Molybdenum Alloy · Corrosion-Resistant Service
HASTELLOY® C-276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy selected for a broad range of aggressive chemical environments. Its low carbon and silicon levels support welded fabrication, while its chromium and molybdenum content contributes to resistance to oxidizing and non-oxidizing acids, localized corrosion and chloride-bearing environments.
UNS N10276 / W. Nr. 2.4819
Used in selected applications exposed to aggressive process chemicals; the actual medium, concentration and temperature determine suitability.
Noted for resistance to pitting and crevice attack in chloride-containing environments.
Offers resistance to chloride-induced stress-corrosion cracking and selected sour-service environments.
The wrought alloy is ductile, formable and weldable using established procedures appropriate to the material.
